The Kodak ESP 5250 is one of two all-in-one color printers (ESP 3250, ESP 5250) released in mid 2009. Both printers utilize Kodak’s Kodacolor technology, which reduces ink costs by up to $110 a year. The ESP 5250 adds along 802.11b/g wireless connectivity and a larger 2.5” LCD screen, while maintaining its predecessor’s 5-in-1 card reader. Like its predecessor, the printer handles black/white printing (up to 30ppm), copying (30ppm), and scanning (1200dpi). And it fits either 100 standard sheets of paper or 20 photo sheets between 4x6” to 8.5x14”. Additional features include a USB 2.0 interface, lower power consumption, and manual two-sided printing. Black cartridges retail for $9.99 and color cartridges for $149.99.
