It includes Canon's DIGIC DV III image processor for true color production and reduced pixel noise and has 32GB of built-in flash memory in addition to an SDHC expansion slot to provide extra storage. The VIXIA HF20 utilizes a 15x HD video lens to create professional-grade zoom shots and is designed with a 2.7" multi-angle widescreen LCD display. It includes Canon's SuperRange optical image stabilization, instant autofocus, and face detection technology and has an HDMI output for viewing HD footage on a TV.
