Canon's PowerShot G11 is a mid-range digital camera that falls at the higher end of Canon's standard point-and-shoot (non-DSLR) camera line. It uses Canon's high-sensitivity DIGIC 4 image processor which enhances overall image clarity (especially in low-light settings), and has a maximum resolution of 10 megapixels. The G11 offers a wide range of pre-set shooting options, such as manual, portrait, landscape, aperture priority, sports, indoor, and more. Images can be viewed with the 2.8-inch LCD display which can be viewed from different angles to make taking certain shots easier. The camera's built-in lens is a 28mm wide-angle lens, and has 5x optical zoom. The G11 is targeted at amateur photographers who enjoy using a point-and-shoot camera, but have some experience with various shooting modes and some manual shooting. It also has a wide range of available accessories.
